When information, which has already been written on a plastic card, has to be changed and it is not possible to change the card itself, stickers with the shape of the card are used. They are thin, they are printed and placed on the existing card. They are widely used with contactless cards of the type Proximity due to the high price of the card. The protective stickers are transparent and have built-in optically changeable elements (kinegrams). When they are placed on the printed card, they create additional protection elements against forgery.
